To not pray for the safety, salvation, well-being, and prosperity of Jerusalem is to pray for your destruction.
A very common thing that is being done now in the face of devastation and sorry is to have ‘a moment of silence’. When faced with the horrific events of our day from man-made or natural events ranging from school shootings to suicide bombings, and hurricanes to fires, political, social and religious leaders are calling for a moment of silence. We will say nothing for 10 seconds or however long.
Haven’t we had a enough silence?
That teaching is to be politically correct, you know, sensitive to the beliefs of all people except those who trust in God.
News flash! The God of Heaven and Earth is not listening for political correctness. He is listening to the people who understand He is God and He is in control.
For Jacob my servant’s sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me. God is in control!
Now is not the time to be silent for Jerusalem. Now is not the time to be silent before the Almighty. Now is the time to cry out to the Great I AM. Now is the time to make your request known.
FYI the seed of Abraham, Issac and Jacob will survive and will prosper. I don’t want you to think that if you don’t pray, we will die and cease to be the people of God. That’s impossible! We will survive and prosper that is our heritage!

Our silence is our destruction!
Pray for Jerusalem and the Jewish people world wide. To war against Israel is to fight against the Almighty. Those people have already lost! Do not take up arms against God.
For thus saith the Lord of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

Israel is very important to God! How important is Israel to you?
When we pray for the safety, salvation, well-being, and prosperity of Jerusalem we are praying for our relationship with The Most High God to be established. When we pray for the peace of Jerusalem we are praying for God to bless our families. When we pray for the peace of Jerusalem we asking God to cultivate our lives. When we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, we are choosing to live in the joy of God’s presence!
What happens to the people who don’t value what God esteems? Consider Esau and king Saul they didn’t value what God esteems and they were rejected. They didn’t want what was best for the people of God.

El Elyon cover your people with your love and favor. Shield them from all those who hate them. Protect and guild the Children of Jacob. May the God of Heaven and Earth pour out His Salvation on Israel and all those standing with her!
